Each group got two races and 3 classes:
light-side:
human-fighter,defender,archer
elf-priest,mage,ranger
dark-side:
vail-oracle,pagan,assasin
nordhein-warrior,guardian,hunter
The world of Shaiya includes 16maps(6neutral,5light and 5dark).

The Classes:
1.warrior/fighter
high amount of weapons
fights in the first row
2.defender/guardian
uses shields and blunt weapons
fights in the first row
3.archer/hunter
uses bows,crossbows,spears and short swords
fights out of distance
4.mage/pagan
uses staves
area-wide skills
5.hunter/assasin
uses short swords and clows
stealthy
6.priest/oracle
uses staves
healing skills
The Skill-System:
In Shaiya each of the 6 different classes got it's own skills.
You get new skills while becoming a higher level.For each level you get "skill-points"(how much skill-points you get depends on the mode you play(EM=least,UM=most)) which you can put on your skills!
There are different types of skills:
-Passive Skills
-Basic Skills
-Attack Skills
-Special Skills
Status-Points/Attributes:
For each level you made you earn some Status-Points(how much depends on the mode you play(EM=least,UM=most)
Those Points you can divide on your attributes:
-STR
-REC
-INT
-WIS
-DEX
-LUC
The Weapons
There are two types of weapons!
The normal weapons(common) and the epic weapons(rare).
Epic weapons can only be found with quests called "Epic-Quests"
The Armours
Normally two classes use the same armour.For exemple the Warrior and the Defender.
There are 9 different armour sets(for each two classes)
(lv2-5,lv8-11,lv15-18,lv22-25,lv29-32,lv36-39,lv43-46,lv50-53,lv55-58)
And of each armour there are different qualities:
*Noble - 1 slot (Most common for 1-15 PvP)
*Worship - 2 slot
*Heroic - 3 slot
*Dread - 4 slot
*Legend - 5 slot (HM only)
*Goddess - 6 slot (UM only)
Mounts:
Yes,mounts do exist here,too!
You can get different Mounts at those levels:
25-28-40-50-50²-50³-58
So, all in all there are 7 different mount for each race.
Two of them(lv25 and lv50²) can be bought at a NPC
Your mount can't fight for or with you!It only increases your move speed(and it's cool)
Quests
In Shaiya there are also different types of quests:
1.the normal quests
2.the dangerous quests
3.the epic quests(here you can get epic weapons)
The different colours of the monster names:
-White - Way too easy.No EXP given
-Light Blue - Not as bad as white though
-Dark Blue - Easier than most
-Green - The average
-Yellow - Medium strength, they're the best to train on
-Orange - Harder, they seem to be much harder to fight, you'll nearly never win
-Red - These can be beat if you try hard enough but it would be better to run away
-Purple - These things will kill you with one hit. They are much stronger than you.
-Grey - BEWARE if like life!They don't give any exp...
The different Modes(Easy-Normal-Hard-Ultimate) :
Easy Mode
* 5 Stat points per level
* 3 Skill points per level
* Level cap at 30
* Cannot Equip Special Weapons
* Cannot use Special Skills
Normal Mode
* 5 Stat points per level
* 3 Skill points per level
* Level cap at 60
* Can ride mounts at level 40 (Normal and Rare)
* Can equip equipment up to dread (4 slots)
Hard Mode
* 7 Stat points per level
* 4 Skill points per level
* Requires level 40 Normal Mode to unlock
* Level cap at 60
* Gain's additional skills
* Much more Exp required to level
* Can ride Hard Mode Mounts at level 50 or normal mode at level 40
* Can equip equipment up to legend (5 slots)
Ultimate Mode
* 9 Stat points per level
* 5 Skill points per level
* Requires level 40 Hard Mode to unlock
* Level cap at 60
* Gain's additional skills beyond Hard Mode
* Same Exp as Hard Mode
* Can equip goddess equipment (6 slots)
* Character Death results in character deletion unless:
- A level 31+ priest/oracle with Ressurection level 2 ressurects you
- A target ressurection rune is used on you
- You have a ressurection rune in your inventory
- You are using a continous ressurection rune
"Shorties":
Toon - Character
AOE - Area Of Effect (Attacks that do damage to more than one monster)
Mob - Group of monsters
exp - Experience
WTB - Want to buy
WTS - Want to sell
WTT - Want to trade.
lfp - Looking for Party
EM - Easy Mode (Unlocked by default)
NM - Normal Mode (Unlocked by default)
HM - Hard Mode (Unlocked once level 40 is reached on NM)
UM - Ultimate Mode (Unlocked once level 40 is reached on HM) | |
